Being a flaneur, I develop a work around nature, “write” landscapes by investing spaces to reproduce emotional experiences, a sensory journey and generate an emotionally inhabited field in which I invite the visitor to stroll.
I’ve got predilection for debris, detritus, and devastated environments.
The search for a balance, in a state of perpetual instability, between rigor and lyricism, between expression and representation.

Rémy Dubibé was born in Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates, spending his childhood and adolescence in Indonesia, between the sea and the jungle. He studied at the Lycée de Sèvres, where his vocation as a ceramicist was revealed, and then perfected his technique at the prestigious Central Saint Martin’s School in London, where he spent more than ten years before settling in Paris in 2021. Whether on the edge of an arid desert or a teeming jungle, in the Persian Gulf or Southeast Asia, his experiences have profoundly shaped his worldview and his work. In both cases, the proximity of the sea and the richness of the seabed have inspired him.
